Breaking Vaccine Myths. Building Trust.
Facts Over Fear. Health for All.
Too many people avoid vaccines because of myths, fear, and lack of clear information. I want to change that. Everyone deserves to know the truth about vaccines—no matter their education, language, or beliefs.
Why Do People Hesitate To Get Vaccinated?
🚫 Lack of Knowledge
Myths spread when people don’t have access to facts
⚠️ Fear of Side Effects
Misinformation fuels unnecessary panic.
🙏 Trust Issues
Cultural and religious beliefs create doubt.
💰 Healthcare Costs
Many think vaccines are expensive or out of reach.
🌍 Language Barriers
Medical terms can be confusing and overwhelming.
About Me
Hi, my name is Sudiksha Aaloori.
I am an aspiring physician and a dedicated student with a passion for advocating for underrepresented communities. I'm also interested in music, public speaking, and academic excellence. My experience includes extensive research and clinical work. I have co-authored a paper on using nanoparticles for the treatment of Friedreich's Ataxia , and I received the
Best Presenter Award for my work on skin cancer epidemiology during a bioinformatics research internship at the University of Houston. I also conducted bioengineering research at Stanford iGEM, where I learned laboratory techniques like DNA analysis and CRISPR basics. In the clinical setting, I have served as a clinical intern at Texas Inpatient Consultants, assisting with telemedicine, flu shots, and EMR management.
I have also volunteered at Memorial Hermann as a junior volunteer, shadowing trauma physicians and helping with patient meal planning. A key part of my community work is with underserved populations at the Valbona Health Clinic, where I have collected patient surveys on health navigation and vaccine hesitancy, and translated for Spanish-speaking patients.
Outside of my medical pursuits, I am a trained
Indian classical vocalist and a violinist in the Honors Orchestra. I also co-authored a motivational children’s book as part of my advocacy for disability inclusion. I am proficient in Spanish and a member of the Spanish Honor Society.

Vaccine Myths vs. Facts
🔴 Myth: Vaccines cause dangerous side effects.
✅ Fact: The vast majority of side effects are mild and temporary, such as a sore arm or mild fever. Serious side effects are extremely rare.
🔴 Myth: Vaccines contain harmful ingredients.
✅ Fact: Vaccines go through rigorous safety testing, and all ingredients are safe in the amounts used.
🔴 Myth: Vaccines are too expensive or unavailable for many people.
✅ Fact: Many vaccines are free or low-cost through government and health programs.
🔴 Myth: Natural immunity is better than vaccine immunity.
✅ Fact: While natural infection can provide immunity, it also comes with dangerous risks. Vaccines offer strong protection without the risk of severe illness.
🔴 Myth: Vaccines cause infertility or long-term health issues.
✅ Fact: There is zero scientific evidence that vaccines impact fertility or cause long-term harm.
🔴 Myth: Vaccines can alter your DNA.
✅ Fact: Vaccines do not change or interact with your DNA in any way. mRNA vaccines work by teaching your body how to fight viruses—they do not enter the cell nucleus where DNA is stored.
